Diagnosis: Root-canal-treated upper left first molar (26) with a provisional restoration, requiring definitive cuspal coverage.
Treatment plan: A biomimetic fibre-reinforced base and a bonded lithium disilicate overlay instead of a full crown.
Procedure: Rubber dam isolation; old restoration removed and the cavity cleaned; adhesive bond and a flowable composite liner, then everX as dentine replacement against a sectional matrix; core completed and shaped, and the overlay preparation finished; overlay bonded under rubber dam.
